Baba Arrives India:


President Muhammadu Buhari, this evening arrived India en route the Indra Ghandi International Airport on a four day visit to attend the 3rd India-Africa summit.
The forum is a platform set up for the advancement of mutually beneficial relations between African countries and India.
He is expected back on Friday, the 30th of  October, 2015.

Nigeria at 56: are we cursed or are we the cause?

Apologies to Mr Peter Obi for using this catchy but thought provoking phrase that he used the very first time he contested for the Governorship of Anambra State. Apparently, that question he asked over ten years ago still hangs over not just his Anambra State but Nigeria as a whole. On a Night like this, 56 years ago, there was probably a sickening nostalgia all over the then British Colony which would later become the Country, Nigeria about the endless possibilities that accompany Independence, especially in a Country that is as endowed as ours. The Other Room: The Other Side To It

Yesterday, the President was at his witless and tactless worst. This time, not in Daura but in faraway Germany where in the company of perhaps, the most powerful woman in the world, he stated that his wife, Aisha belongs to "the kitchen and the other room" in response to a question from a journalist on his views about his wife's exclusive interview to The BBC Hausa Service where she implied that the Buhari administration had been hijacked by some anti progressive forces and that she might not campaign for her husband in the event that he decides to seek reelection in 2019.
