China abandons its controversial 'one-child a couple' policy.



The Chinese Communist party on October, 29th finally abandoned its' controversial 'one-child' a couple policy that had been widely criticized for China's rapidly ageing population and plunging birth rate.
However, the Party insists, unlike the Government of any other nation that it has the right to control people's fertility.
The controversial policy which was introduced in 1979 has according to the Communist Party helped to prevent the birth of over 400 million persons.
