That Kinda Thing; Buhari in 300 seconds meeting with Jonathan:


Earlier today, former President, Goodluck Jonathan met for the second time since his May 29th handover with  President Muhammadu Buhari.

The meeting which held at the new banquet hall of the Aso Rock Villa was said to have lasted for roughly 5 minutes.
Well, it remains to be seen what sort of meeting that could have taken place in 300 seconds.

Nigeria at 56: are we cursed or are we the cause?

Apologies to Mr Peter Obi for using this catchy but thought provoking phrase that he used the very first time he contested for the Governorship of Anambra State. Apparently, that question he asked over ten years ago still hangs over not just his Anambra State but Nigeria as a whole. Yesterday, the President was at his witless and tactless worst. This time, not in Daura but in faraway Germany where in the company of perhaps, the most powerful woman in the world, he stated that his wife, Aisha belongs to "the kitchen and the other room" in response to a question from a journalist on his views about his wife's exclusive interview to The BBC Hausa Service where she implied that the Buhari administration had been hijacked by some anti progressive forces and that she might not campaign for her husband in the event that he decides to seek reelection in 2019.
