Rugby World Cup Finals; New Zealand V Australia:



After 43 day and 47 matches,The stage is set for what pundits have described as the most eagerly anticipated rugby match on planet earth between the All Blacks of New Zealand against the Australian National Team.
This years edition of the Rugby World Cup has already beaten the previous attendance record with an estimated 2.3 million stadium visits to watch the competition holding in England.
New Zealand are defending champions and favourites considering their glittering performances all through the tournament, the most glorious of which was a 20- 18 victory over the Springboks of South Africa.
In the last three meetings between both teams, New Zealand have won twice while the Aussies have won once.
The trophy will be presented by Prince Harry, an avid rugby fan.
The match kicks off at 17:00(GMT).

Apologies to Mr Peter Obi for using this catchy but thought provoking phrase that he used the very first time he contested for the Governorship of Anambra State. Apparently, that question he asked over ten years ago still hangs over not just his Anambra State but Nigeria as a whole. AHEAD OF SATURDAY: WHO DID WE OFFEND?

Recently, I saw an op-Ed o n Bloomberg which potrayed Nigeria's 2019 Presidential election as between a former dictator and an alleged kleptocrat. At first, I considered the insinuation offensive but deep down, I knew that was the perfect description of the two gladiators in this weekend's presidential polls; my grouse was actually with the fact that even foreigners know how bad our shit smells. While he was campaigning for the first time as the Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, the vice presidential candidate of Nigeria's main opposition party in Saturday's poll kept asking if Anambra was cursed or if Anambra people were the cause. Today, I can't resist the urge to ask whether Nigeria is cursed with totally irresponsible leadership or if we are the causes of the failure in leadership.
