Ajimobi, Bagudu live to fight another day:

Unlike some of their less fortunate co travelers in their sojourn  as Chief Executives of States, Oyo State Governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi and Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, both of the ruling All Progressives Congress have had their elections upheld by the Election Petition Tribunals in their respective states.
In Oyo, the state election Petition tribunal ruled that the petitioner, Senator Rasheed Ladoja of the Accord Party failed to substantiate his claims that the election that brought the respondent into power was marred by fraud.
Also, in Kebbi, the petition brought by the candidate of the PDP in the April, 11 polls was equally dismissed.
However, it remains to be seen what next steps the petitioners in both cases would take but it is expected that the option of appealing to a higher court will be utilized by both parties.
