KLOPP SUFFERS FIRST LIVERPOOL DEFEAT AS GIBBS SALVAGES POINT FOR GUNNERS:

It was an afternoon to forget for Jurgen Klopp as he tasted his first defeat as Liverpool coach in his team's 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at Anfield.
In the game, Palace started the better of the two sides as the took the lead through a Yannick Bolasie opener. However, Parity was restored through an equalizer towards half time by Phillipe Coutinho. Sadly, it was not to be Liverpool's day as Palace took the lead in the 82nd minute through a goal from S. Dann.
Meanwhile, in the eagerly anticipated London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs, Arsenal managed to salvage a point through Kieran Gibbs' late equalizer after a series of missed opportunities by Olivier Giroud with Harry Kane having given Spurs the lead earlier in the first half.
In other parts of Europe, Barcelona banished any thoughts of 'messidependncia' with a commanding three-nil thumping of erstwhile title rivals, Villareal as goals from Neymar and Luis Suarez restored Barca to the summit of the Spanish La Liga.
Elsewhere in Italy, Juventus finally got back on track with a three-one dismissal of Empoli.
In Germany, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his scoring streak as Dortmund beat Schalke 04 by three goals to two even as Bayern Munich shove aside Stuttgart in a 4-nil victory.
