What manner of solidarity is this at the expense of duty?

For the second time in what has become an ugly trend, the Senate of The National Assembly was shut down as Senators abandoned the Senate Chambers in order to accompany Senate President President, Bukola Saraki to the Code Of Conduct Tribunals.
It would be recalled that about 13 days ago, The Senate was closed down in similar fashion in order to accompany Saraki to the tribunal.
Saraki is standing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal for alleged discrepancies in his asset declaration, which he vehemently denies and continues to attribute his trial to a witch-hunt against him.
At the Tribunal, Saraki's Legal team argued that the Tribunal should stay proceedings pending the determination of their appeal challenging the Tribunal's jurisdiction at the Supreme Court. On the other hand, Prosecution Counsel, Rotimi Jacobs argued that there was an appeal court decision which was to the effect that the Tribunal's jurisdiction was not in question and also that the Court of Appeal decision was binding on both parties.
Eventually, the Code of Conduct Tribunal headed by Justice Danladi Umar held that trial must continue despite the appeal at the Supreme Court.
However, events took an unprecedented turn when The Senate President's Legal Team walked out of the Tribunal in order to register their displeasure at Tribunal's decision describing it as judicial rascality.
